Playing in the Park doing the classic games we know like tag or any sports, Feeding the ducks, reading books, using our imagination through creative drawings, playing with bubbles, reading books, having our own dance party to some fun music, and honestly going on adventures in the home with the kids imagination like playing pirates, home or doctors.

Safety is number one and helping the parents in anyway we can in the way they need it. And then to help the kid feel safe, comfortable, and to find joy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time I was babysitting two little adventurers—ages 3 and 6—when we suddenly heard a mysterious thump from somewhere in the house. The kids froze like statues. I tried to play detective, tiptoeing around to find the source of the sound, but it I couldn’t figure it out. We sat behind the couch for like an hour.
The the kids decided the only logical explanation was pirates. So we dove behind the couch, whispering plotting our next move. “We have to sneak onto their ship,” the 6-year-old whispered, “but they’ve got traps!” The 3-year-old nodded.
We crawled across the living room floor, dodging imaginary cannonballs and booby traps, until we reached the hallway. That’s when we discovered their cat, dramatically stuck behind the closed door of the parents’ bedroom, meowing like it was auditioning for a horror movie.
We rescued the feline prisoner, declared victory over the pirate invasion, and celebrated with goldfish crackers.
