My experiences as a swim instructor and my involvement with the Fenton Fire Department have equipped me with skills and qualities that make me a strong candidate for roles in child care. As a swim instructor at Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation, I gained extensive experience working with children of all ages and skill levels. I developed the ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment while teaching essential water safety skills. This role required patience, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child, all of which are crucial in childcare. Additionally, my time as an Explorer with the Fenton Fire Department instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. This experience has enhanced my ability to ensure the safety and well-being of children under my care.

I love doing arts and crafts, educational, and can even help with homework when the school year comes around if need be! As for outdoor activities I have been known to love a sprinkler and garden hose, or a walk around the neighbor hood. When winter comes I am a master snowman builder, and have plenty of treats and trinkets to make for the holidays.
