A little bit about me

I am 24 years old and have been working in mental health social services. I just moved to the area to live with my parents while I do grad school. I graduated May 2018 from Loyola University Chicago where I got my bachelors in Social Work and Spanish. I have an associates in Business Administration and World Languages. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have babysat up to six children including infants and toddlers in the home setting and have been in charge of up to 14 children in other settings. I was a camp counselor and have worked in childcare for many church events as well. While babysitting I love to do arts and crafts, take the kids to different locations, do outdoor activities if approved by the parents, help with homework, and engage in activities that interest the child(ren).

Infants and toddlers are the bulk of the ongoing families I’ve had over the past 5 years & I love those ages. I am very comfortable with newborns, multiple littles, & twins.

I try to be a safe space for the kids if they need to talk or if they just need to take a break from being around their classmates. I have an open mind and treat every kid with kindness because you never know what someone might be going through or what day they might be having.
