A little bit about me

My name is Madelaine Calvin and I have worked with children for about 20 years now. I started as a babysitter and mothers helper and have moved on to being a full time nanny. I have also worked as a teacher in preschools. I have experience with special needs children as well as typically developing children. I have worked with children varying in ages from newborn through the age of 12. In regards to special needs children I have worked with children with ADHD, Autism, Down syndrome, children who are non-verbal, physically handicapped, intellectually handicapped, genetic disorders and more. I strongly believe in getting children of all ages and abilities out into the community. With that being said I believe in taking children to fun and educational activities. Some of these include swimming, libraries, museums, bowling, bounce houses, etc. Some of my previous duties have been daily child care, running errands, light housekeeping light laundry, meal preparation, etc.
