Hi! My name is Madeleine and I am currently a senior at Northwestern University. With over 7 years of nannying experience, helping families with their childcare needs has become a staple of my early work experience. My responsibilities have ranged from part-time after school and evening care to full-time summer work, taking children to their activities, helping with summer school assignments, and prioritizing non-tech activities at home. As an experienced caretaker and eldest sister to two younger brothers, my approach to childcare is one that combines compassion, understanding, patience, and respect. I most enjoy reading, playing outside, going to the park, doing arts and crafts, hosting play dates, and playing board games with the children I care for. I am also always willing to help with homework!

The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is creating a meaningful and productive relationship with the families that trust me to care for their children. I am keenly aware of the importance of this work, and I take great pride and responsibility in my duty to create a safe and loving environment for the children in my care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when one child I nannied for gave me a three hour run-down on the inner workings of "Dance Moms" lore complete with a visual chart of the drama and conflicts among the characters on the show. Safe to say I am now a Dance Moms expert :)
