Hi! My husband Chris and I are expecting our first in mid-October. We are looking for a full-time nanny share arrangement starting late January.

We live in Ravenswood and would be looking for a family in or near that area. We are more than happy to host, or to split time between both houses.

A little about us: we're both originally from the Midwest and have made Chicago our home for the last decade. My husband commutes to the suburbs for work and I work downtown. We are both in our mid 30s, and love traveling, getting outside ... and food!

We're so excited for this new chapter of our lives and can't wait to meet our little one this fall.

Ideally we would find a family that is not too far from our place in Ravenswood, and is looking for a similar full-time nanny share engagement that starts in early 2020.

We are willing to host some or all of the time, as we have space for the little ones. Ideally we would find a family with a child who is similar in age (ours will be 3 months in January). We'd also like to find a family before locking in a nanny, so that we can find someone that works for us both.

Please contact us you are interested!

We are in search of a caring, energetic nanny for our 1 year old son, Haden starting in Sept 2020 in Northeast Evanston (on Lincoln between Ridge & Sherman). We live only a few blocks from both parks, the beach, and the el.

Expectations/guidelines are up for discussion - in general we are ideally looking for our nanny to prioritize the care of our boy, & to feel at home in our house while my husband & I both work - when possible providing light household duties/keeping the house neat at the end of each day, including picking up toys and doing the kids’ laundry approximately twice a week. We take COVID/social distancing seriously and would expect the same from our nanny.

Our low-maintenance golden retriever, Dudley, will also keep you company during the day.

We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a year or more and commit to 40+ hours per week, ideally 4-5 days per week (Monday - Friday? Monday- Thursday?).

We have one, sweet 14-month old boy who loves moving around, being outside, and reading books.
My husband and I both work. I am beginning a new position and my hours and schedule will be changing as I get settled into the new position. To start it will be half days Monday-Wednesday.
We are open to nanny-share!
We have two friendly and loving medium sized dogs.

Our family is really nerdy and laid back. My husband is a software engineer, and I'm a freelance visual artist.

Our little dude, Lucien, is really passionate about cars, ball towers/marble runs, books, cats (we're a multi-cat family..two are ours and several are fosters), dogs, and doing more with pretend playing doctor and using pretend food. He also loves play-doh!

Lucien was born in December, 2017 and diagnosed with focal epilepsy in February, 2018 at 2 months. He's been seizure-free since March 1, 2018 and is on phenobarbital once per day at bedtime, but is currently being weaned off. His nanny will not be responsible for his medication. Lucien also has Blount's Disease and wears kfo braces on his legs to help straighten his shin bones. These do not bother him but he needs assistance standing from a sitting position.

We are needing a nanny for Lucien so I can have mostly uninterrupted time to work on my deadlines during the week.

His nanny *must* be kind, and patient at a minimum. I would also greatly appreciate someone engaging and creative who can build on and expand his curiosities.

My son Dougie is a wonderful and curious 2 year old boy. He can be a little shy, but is excited to learn about the world and explore. We are hoping to find a full-time nanny share, ideally at another person's home as our older dog isn't up for too much excitement.

We have been unbelievably lucky to have a nanny share with an amazing nanny and beautiful extended family for four years. Our other family is moving and we are looking to find some lovely new people to take their place.
It would be with our 9 month old (his 4 year old big brother goes to all day daycare / preschool).

our nanny (Sara) takes care of the kids together for 40 hours per week Monday thru Thursday. Ideally we would like to keep her in the new share but up for negotiation and you should meet her of course before we make that decision together. we split that down the middle between the two families. Seriously one of the best deals in childcare!!

We are open to where the share occurs. Right now we have the kids at our place two days a week and at the other’s the other 2 days. Works nicely for the days I want to work from home. We do have a dog (an extremely friendly and lazy one).
