I am a Behavioral Health Technician at a residential eating disorder center. The clients range in age from 11-17. All the clients have an ED, and most have co-occuring disorders. It is a challenging position, but very rewarding, and the kids seem to warm up well to me. I bring fun and energy to the clinic, but I also know when and how to be strict with them (usually for their own recovery or safety). I bring a good balance to the clinic that allows the clients to feel comfortable with me.
