More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In previous years, I babysat a girl from the age of 5 months until she turned 6. I also babysat another girl on occasion who was 7 years old. I would pick them up from daycare/school, make them food, and get them ready for bed. I have also taken them to the playground or sports practice.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I enjoy doing with children include playing board games, playing with their toys with them, playing school, helping them with homework, drawing/coloring, going to zoos, aquariums, and museums. Some outdoor activities I enjoy are walking, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes or scooters, playing at the park and playing sports.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kid is safe and taken care of. Being honest with them and helpful, not demanding. Also ensuring that the parents feel comfortable with the babysitter and a trusting relationship is very important to me.

I do not have any experience with special needs children, but I am open and willing to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when the child I was babysitting started to talk, she called me "Big Madi." She has a half-sister named Madi who is 2 years older than her so it made me laugh and smile when she started calling me that. Also, the family had a border collie and I would give the girl piggy bag rides and run around and the dog would playfully try and catch us.
