During high school, I nannied for two elementary aged boys M-F while they did their schoolwork, and then would go to my other job caring for a 2 year old.
During college, I nannied for various families in ages ranging from 2-10 years old. My most recent family I was with for the past three summers. I provided activities, transportation, and tutoring.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I enjoy nannying because you get to build a unique relationship with children. When you spend several days a week with children, you begin to see their little personalities show and understand how they think. It's very important for me to understand children's behavior before I manage a classroom full of many littles!

My favorite moment as a nanny was the summer before I started my first teaching position. My nanny family gave me a bunch of gifts to help me set up my classroom. :)
