A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Madison but I go by Madi. I’m taking some time off from school as a chemistry major and am looking to be a live-in nanny. I’ve worked as a babysitter and nanny since I was 12, I worked as a dance teacher during high school, and I typically nanny during summers. I absolutely love kids and I’m more than happy to drive, clean, and cook.

I’m originally from Alaska but have lived in Illinois since high school. I went to UIUC for my undergrad in chemistry but plan to go back to school for my masters eventually. I need some time away from school to save up and give my brain a break. My significant other is moving back to New Jersey to stay with his parents before his job starts in June and I’d love to stay near him.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting since I was 12. I’ve nannied for five summers. I was a student teacher at my dance studio all through high school. I’m recently worked as a caregiver for infants at a daycare and preschool facility where I also worked as a teacher for 3-4 year olds.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being inside and outside! I love going for walks or bike rides, going to a park, playing games, reading, and crafts. I’m not very good at sports but I enjoy playing them for fun!
