I am a first-time mom; my little one is almost 2! I’m 30 years old and have been working in the social work field for the duration of my adulthood. I’ve been responsible for children and adults from many different populations. Now that my little one is getting older, I feel like he is missing out socialization with other kids and I am finding the casework to be much more difficult. I would love to spend less time behind the computer and more time making a direct impact on kids, both other children and my own. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and try to stay on top of the latest developmental information. I am a big proponent of diversity, acceptance, and kindness.
