The most important part for me is making an impact. We live in a crazy world today and I want to be able to make an impact on our next generation and invest in them. I had many people invest into me throughout my life and it’s made a huge impact having that support.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother had severe Tourette’s syndrome and OCD along with ADD, ADHD and a severe sensory disorder. I’ve learned extreme patience while growing up with him. I also have two cousins with Autism and three other cousins with Tourette’s, OCD, ADD, ADHD and sensory disorders. These experiences have given me the ability of gaining a deep level of patience and understanding! I also have professional experience in taking care of two children with sensory disorders and autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I absolutely love growing a relationship with the children I care for as well as their guardians. My favorite moment is watching them grow and experiencing those “ah-ha” moments. When they are struggling to either express themselves, solve a puzzle or trying to work together with their siblings and they figure it out themselves or even with a little help is what encourages me and provides satisfaction growth for the kids!
