I have worked in my church childcare room with about 10-13 kids at a time. I have also worked for a nanny company caring for kids ranging from newborn-13years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy anything hands on with kids. I try to keep screen time to a minimum, but I always follow what the parents prefer. I love crafts or anything art to do with the kids as well as reading and playing outside.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are heard and seen. Kids have such big emotions in such little bodies and sometimes don’t know how to express themselves correctly. I make it my duty to get down to their level and make sure all their needs are met. I do all things to the best of my ability to ensure the upmost care!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children on the ASD spectrum with a nannying company. I also have a special needs little brother that I have cared for since he came out of the NICU in 2018.
