A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Margot Amalachandran! I am 28-year-old, who is working at Seattle Children's Hospital as a clinical research coordinator in the Pediatric Neuromuscular program and previously in the Autism Center. I am looking to go back to school to get a teaching degree, so I need to save some more money. I have TONS of experience working with children over the past 10+ years of my life. Children and families usually describe me as a fun-loving, driven, empathetic person who is patient while always trying to bring smile on everyone's face. I am very comfortable working with all children, especially neurodiverse and physically differently abled kids. Some of my other experience outside of my current work includes:
- certified behavior technician that provided ABA services for children with ASD
- volunteered/worked (4+ years) at Providence Regional Medical Center with children that have cognitive and physical disabilities
- grew up taking care of all my neighborhood kids
