A little bit about me

I’ve spent years working with children in different settings, and what ties it all together is my belief that kids grow best when they feel safe, seen, and free to be curious. At the Saint Louis Science Center, I facilitate early childhood discovery and hands-on STEM programming. I spend my days getting messy with science like seeds, soil, bugs, big questions and I’ve learned the best moments happen when you crouch down, follow a child’s lead, and let wonder do the teaching.

Before that, I was a summer preschool teacher focused on social-emotional growth: naming feelings, resolving conflicts, building confidence. I've also coached youth soccer, which taught me kids don't need perfection they need patience, consistency, and someone who believes in them while they're still figuring it out.

I grew up on farms with dirt under my fingernails, learning science and nature belong to everyone. That's the lens I bring to every child.
