Hi! My name is Maria!
I currently work as a nanny for a family of 2 children! They are going to daycare and I’m in search of my next opportunity.
I grew up in a family of 8 children, I am the second oldest. We are all adopted and my family did foster care. I'm so thankful for my mom and how she so willingly taught me how to love and care for others.
I have been babysitting and nannying for over 4 years. From newborns to 12-year-olds. My passion has always been to work with children, and I strive to teach them the best I can.
I also have a 3-year-old son, who is crazy busy and a sweet 2 month old daughter. I am hoping to bring them along with me. I would love the opportunity to talk more and for you to get to know me.

I’ve always been passionate about children. I’ve volunteered in the church nursery for many years.
Before becoming a nanny I worked as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism and bipolar disorders.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors!
Going on walks, going to the park or the zoo. I also enjoy doing crafts and music activities!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to love and care for other parents kiddos while they are working to provide for them. Nothing better than knowing your children are well taken care of!

My experience with special needs children...

I have a sister with special needs. She is an adult now and doing awesome!
I worked as a behavioral therapist with children with autism. My family also did foster care with children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

-My most memorable nanny moments have been watching my son love and build friendships with our nanny kids.

My funniest/craziest moment was when a five year old accident cut my hair as we were doing crafts! That’s the price you pay for having long hair :/
