Is always be there for the children and the family. Always be loyal and respectful. Enjoy the time with the children, make new memories with them, show them it's ok not to be perfect and be yourself. Encourage the children that to stay true to yourself.

My experience with special needs children...

My first experience was with a child that had difficulty eating on his own and I was there to train him to become more confident and encourage him to push forward and not give up!! I help the child to get dressed / eating on his own, and help accomplish goals.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The favorite moment as nanny I would say is seeing the children come out of there shell, and let lose and be them selves, and right there the relationship between nanny and child is blooms. Watching the children enjoy being silly and goofy, sharing moments that are off guard..like something happened at school and it got stuck in their minds and later they remember...lol... or when a infant is learning to recognize their own reflection on the mirror, they are watching their own steps...lol
