My name is Mariah Hawkins. I feel that my work experience has provided me with the skills necessary to be a great asset to your family. I have been a substitute and and teacher’s assistant for Stafford County Public Schools for nine years. This has given me invaluable childcare and education experience. I had the opportunity to work with children at varying learning levels-which has helped me to become adaptable and to exercise patience. I also had to work with children that suffered from crippling anxiety attacks. This helped me acquire techniques to ease and calm children in distress.
