The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, cared for, and protected when their parents are gone. I want the children to feel comfortable around me and know I care for them. I want them to be able to learn from me while also having fun. I also think having good communication and trust with the parents is very important.

My favorite nanny moment would be when one of the boys I nannied for started a YouTube channel and would film his family vacations and I would help him edit the videos. Some of the videos would get a lot of views and he would get so excited every time he posted the videos. I loved watching him do the thing he loved and made me happy and proud when his videos would do good knowing how much they meant to him and how hard he worked on them.
