The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is to ensure the safety and well-being of the children under your care. A nanny is responsible for providing a nurturing environment for the children to grow and learn. This includes meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs, ensuring they are well-fed, clean, and properly dressed, as well as engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote their social, intellectual, and emotional growth. Additionally, a nanny must build a trusting and positive relationship with the children and their parents or guardians, communicate effectively, and be flexible and adaptable to changing situations. Overall, being a nanny requires a genuine love and passion for children, patience, responsibility, and strong interpersonal skills.

My experience with special needs children...

My brother is a kid with special needs. I've been caring/helping my mom out with him for about 2-3 years, and you've just gotta be really patient and make sure they're understanding everything comfortably at they're own pace! Most importantly makes sure they feel like they are having the best time ever!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I saw the child I was caring for take their first steps. They had been crawling for a while and were starting to stand on their own, but I never expected them to start walking so soon. I was just sitting on the floor playing with them when suddenly they stood up and took a few hesitant steps towards me. I felt so proud and happy for them, and it was a joy to see their face light up with excitement and achievement. It was a small moment, but it was one I will always cherish and remember fondly.
