The most important part about being a nanny...
In my opinion… being a nanny is all about being their for the children no matter what! To support them in their interest and watch them grow. Also it’s very important to build a strong bond with the children so they have positive role models rather than negative role models! Having a trusting relationship with a kid can affect your relationship between them so building that bond will have them looking up to you quicker than you think.
My experience with special needs children...
never personally was a nanny/babysitter for someone with special needs but I grew up with family in my household with it so it’s not something I’m not used to. I’ve had my time to experience what it’s like being around it and keeping them entertained. Will it be more of a job? Yes, but I’m up for any challenge.
The most important part about being a nanny...
my favorite nanny moment would be when i was there to witness kia (baby i babysat) take her first steps. i also love when newborns find their laugh.
