More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered in the children's rooms at my church for many years. Working with newborns up to nine-year-olds. I also teach kids craft classes at Michaels occasionally.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing with children both indoors and out. Swimming, making crafts, baking, going to the park, reading stories, traveling on adventures, and so much more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am a fun loving, outgoing, positive woman who loves working with children. I have taken care of my niece and nephews who are from the age of seven all the way to a newborn. I have watched two boys under the age of 12 and two little girls. I volunteer and babysit for children ten and under at my church. We make crafts, watch movies, play outside, or even make up indoor games. I absolutely love kids, and spending time with them both indoors and out. Two summers ago, I was a nanny for two girls, ages 8 and 12. The summer of 2018, I nannied for a family with seven kids. My role there was to cook, clean, pick up, drop off, rock babies to sleep, read stories to the younger girls, take kids swimming, and so much more. When teaching at Michaels Arts and Crafts, I am able to work with parents and children alike. It is a rarity when I am not surrounded by kids.
Readings books with kids is also a favorite of mine!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I absolutely adore the moment when I walk in the door every morning and am greeted by the two and five year old girls that I nannied for this past summer. Kate and Jillian are definitely a handful, but are such a ray of sunshine. I enjoy every moment I share with them, and their other five siblings. The days are never boring to say the least.

I have experience with special needs kids from a place called Hands and Feet. (I also have a special needs cousin.) I absolutely adore kids, and their safety is my number one priority. I have my own transportation and I can help with whatever needs to be done. (Light house keeping, meals/snacks, errands, transportation between place to place, etc.) I am pet friendly and would love to help in that area too. If homework needs to be done, I'd be delighted to help. I have a high school degree and am working on my CNA license. Children give me great joy and I couldn't be happier.
