A little bit about me

I'm a creative and patient caregiver with experience providing reliable childcare for families. I have 20 years of healthcare experience, including working at Children's Hospital. I am a RT(R) with nursing experience and First Aid/CPR training.

I adore children and have experience caring for a variety of age groups. I have lifeguard training and I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. Communicating with parents about their child's day and any issues is crucial.

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your children while offering you peace of mind. I'm excited about the prospect of working with children in my community. I love cooking and pets! I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision.

I look forward to caring for your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

20 years of medical experience. I've worked at Children's Hospital. I've worked with special needs children. I have baby sat for Physicians, family and friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Painting, chalk, outdoor adventures on playgrounds or swimming, reading, games, cooking, and watching movies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being intuitive with the children (hearing what they mean/need) and communicating with the parents. Every child is different. Some of them take a while to warm up and others are completely the opposite. Some of them love to paint and read books, while others want to go swimming or play on the playground. I think it's about really getting to know the child as a person and respecting that they are all different just like adults.

My experience with special needs children...

I was stepmother to a 5 year old little boy who was autistic, I taught him how to play chess but it did take a little while for him to warm up to me. Every special needs child is different. My nephew is also autistic and didn't speak for the longest time. I helped him feel comfortable speaking when he was three. I really think it's because I listened and no one else would. I also cared for a 7-year-old with cerebral palsy and worked on the special needs for at Children's hospital.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was caring for a 5 year old little boy who had autism and I taught him how to play chess. He really learned and it was so fun and you could tell how happy he was.

Claudia C. - Seeking Work in Panama City

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Panama City, FL: Claudia C.

Hello!
My name is Claudia! I am a 21-year-old with a passion for children, being outside, and serving. I have been described as extremely considerate, hard- working, reliable, and competent. Upon waking, my goal every day is to love and serve others. If you are looking for a caretaker who is up for any challenge, is always in high spirits, and knows how to encourage and implement healthy relationship skills in children, I might be a good fit for your family! Furthermore, a relationship with God through Christ has taught me what love truly is. My values and morals are biblical, so if that is something you are looking for or have questions about, I am open to talking about it!
I hope to hear from you! :)
Blessings,
Claudia
