Panama City$20/hr  |  1 kid
Hi! We are two physicians who just moved to the Panama City. FL area about a month ago with our 3 year old daughter. She is smart, feisty, and hilarious. We looking for a full-time nanny/mother’s helper, ideally starting early September. Must have someone very flexible and VERY reliable. Ideally, this would be a “semi-live-in” sort of situation due to early mornings, where candidate is willing to stay overnight (but off-duty) on nights before working (we have a private upstairs bed/bath). My daughter will be in school during the day so most of this position will essentially require early morning care with drop-off, afternoon pick-up, and being our “on-call”/ backup person during the school day (in case urgent pick-up is needed). The day will start at our house @ 6am before we leave for work… You don’t need to be AWAKE this early, just in the home to be there when she wakes up, get her dressed/ready, feed breakfast, and drop off at school between 7:45-8am. If one of us gets off in time, we would do pick-up and nanny responsibilities for the day would be over. If not, she would need pickup from school around 3:30/4pm and candidate would provide afternoon childcare until we return home from work. Actual active childcare will probably be only 4-6 hours a day, but we are offering flat 40hr/week pay to cover the “back-up” daytime hours. With this said, during these paid hours when there is not direct childcare, some small housekeeping tasks (kid laundry, tidy play areas, school lunch/snack prep, bonus if starting dinner) and errands like grocery shopping or pickup would be expected. Weekdays worked would be pre-planned (usually months ahead of time) based on our schedules. Likely at least one weekday OFF per week (sometimes more). If one of us off, you are off too, but would continue to pay the full week regardless. All mileage, nanny meals at our home, and cost of activities would be covered. No overnights or weekends.
