A little bit about us

We're looking for a trustworthy and caring nanny to care for our two young children, Mackenzie, who's three years old and fully potty trained, and Kyrie, who's two years old and in the process of learning to use the potty. With my long hours at the MTC prison from 7am to 7pm and my partner's early shift at the navy base from 4am to 5pm, we need someone reliable to pick up the kids from daycare at 4:30pm and keep them safe and happy until we finish work. The ideal nanny will be able to provide engaging activities, assist with Kyrie's potty training, and create a nurturing environment that allows our children to thrive. We're seeking someone who is energetic, patient, and able to build a strong bond with our kids, giving us peace of mind while we're away at work.

I am looking for a flexible long-term sitter to watch over my beautiful 6 month baby girl, her name is Tahani and she is a very good baby I promise I'm not overreacting haha, she is super loving, playful, energetic, and overall just a happy baby!

I recently got a new job at a clinic which I will be working late on some days and need someone to watch over my baby till 8 pm max ( not all the time ) I need a sitter to arrive at my house at 6 am (NEED) on the days I work, my schedule will fluctuate and I have every other weekend off which we will discuss further on upon meeting. we are debating if we want to put her in daycare from 6am - 5:00 pm and just have a nanny pick her up and stay with her for the remainder of time which would be 2 hours max.

My husband and I are expecting our first child in June 2022. I currently only work part-time, about 15 hours per week. The days I work vary week-to-week so we are looking for someone with scheduling flexibility. For the most part I will need someone on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays. My working hours are always within a Mon-Fri, 7 am-4 pm window. We do have a cat who is very low-maintenance.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Panama City, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Panama City, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Panama City, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
