A little bit about me

I am In my late 60’s and retired. In the mid-late 70’s I was nanny to 2 young children in town and remained friends with them for years. Then I cared for a Quadreplegic woman (she has since passed away). I moved to FL in 1988 and came back to Simsbury in 2010 to care for my elderly mother (she passed in 2014 at McLean). I am back in Simsbury a year now and looking to work for a family, helping care for their children. I am a very safe driver (had my CDL and drove school bus for several years, first in Bloomfield, then in FL). I have some arthritis and use a walker, but I am a good cook, and truly enjoy helping others and being around young(er) people. No children of my own, but have nephews (now in their late-30’s to mid-40’s).
