A little bit about me

Hi families! My name is Mayah, and caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. I come from a big family and am the fourth of six kids, so helping with little ones has been a part of my world for as long as I can remember.

I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Health, and I have hands-on experience working with children in a variety of settings. I previously worked as a substitute teacher and have experience supporting children with special needs, which taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of individualized care.

I truly love kids — their imagination, their energy, and the joy they bring to everyday moments. I believe in creating a positive, safe, and fun environment where kids feel seen, supported, and encouraged to be themselves.
