The most important part about being a nanny is providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children. This involves not only meeting their basic needs, such as feeding and changing, but also fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. A great nanny is someone who understands each child's unique personality and interests, and is able to engage with them in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth. Communication with the parents is also crucial, as it allows for a collaborative approach to childcare and ensures that everyone is on the same page regarding the child's needs and well-being.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when a parent shared with me that their 2 year old liked to play "Ms. Megan" where she sets up her stuffed animals to take care of and teach them things I taught her. It reminds me that I am making a positive difference in children's life.
