The most important part about being a nanny for me would be that a child is well-cared for, fed, and happy. I love watching babies grow and helping children learn. It is important that we have someone around our kids that we know will have a positive effect on them. Helping a child learn and to read is something I can and have done. Babies need lots of attention and I love giving it!
My experience with special needs children...
I grew up watching and learning from my older sister who has Autism. I’ve found way to help calm her down but also know her cues when she just wants to be alone.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The sweetest moment will always be when watching a movie with my niece and nephew and they'd be laughing hysterically at one point and the next moment they had dozed off for a nap. It puts a smile on my face to know I can help them enjoy their time while their mother's at work but also make sure they get their sleep schedule stays on track as well.
