More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Helping my two sisters with their young they had while still in their teens, child care is pretty much how I grew up- I have always been a caretaker - whether it be for animals or children. Pet sitting followed by infant child care has been my favorite jobs ive ever had - I guess because of my feminine nature - I dont know! lol
I have previous experience working as a live in nanny for a 3 month old up until the age of one - along with working in churches or learning facilities / day cares for infants up to the age of 6/7 -
I would love to have a meet and great to speak with parents / meet children for an initial take on my energy an approach with child, to provide reassurance and comfortability for both parent and young.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outdoor play, sight seeing, learning activities simple or big!
I love playing games of any kind, imaginary or board games, even barbies or trucks!
My nieces and nephews are at the age of curiosity so the occasional why's of this and that are always an enjoyable conversation with kiddos, I love the curious mind of the young, the imagination must be kept alive and excited.
Electronics are ok although I personally feel they are kind of destroying the youth so I try to keep away from those types of entertainment.

The most important part about being a nanny...
energy and approach is absolutely everything, I soul believe and know that children can feel our emotions by the energy we put out or give off. Even infants! maybe even especially is the correct word.
Understanding child needs, wants, - having older children understand the importance of things.
Most importantly - letting the child know you are there for them, to help them, guide them, or even just be there to listen or give a hug when upset, genuine care and love is most important when being a nanny, a solid support system is key to a happy healthy child.

My experience with special needs children...
Although I do not have one on one experience, working in summer camps and having family friends that do have special needs children - I have proven todo well with understanding what is meant or needed by child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Infant live in nanny position, seeing Harper ( 6 month old at the time)
her eyes lit up when seeing me, which told me that her eye sight had begun to develop and it was a beautiful moment of growth along with love from the feeling of want / recognition/ excitement to see me come into the room.
