Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience caring for children in both preschool/daycare settings and one-on-one roles. I have worked with infants as young as 3 months old up to children around 10 years old. In preschool and daycare environments, I cared for children ages 3 months to 4 years old, helping with feeding, diapering, playtime, learning activities, and daily routines while creating a safe and engaging environment.

I also work as a Behavior Technician supporting children ages 3–10, where I help build communication, social, and life skills through structured activities, patience, and positive encouragement. This experience has strengthened my ability to stay calm, attentive, and creative with kids of different personalities and needs. I enjoy keeping children engaged through crafts, games, reading, outdoor play, and fun learning activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun and creative activities, especially indoors. I love doing arts and crafts, reading stories, building with blocks or Legos, playing games and puzzles, and encouraging imaginative play like dress up or pretend adventures. I also enjoy music, dancing, and helping with homework or simple learning activities when needed. While I’m more of an indoor activities person, I’m always happy to take kids to the playground, blow bubbles, or spend some time outside when the weather is nice. My goal is always to keep kids entertained, learning, and having fun in a safe and positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Building trust with both the child and the family is key. When children feel secure, they are more confident to learn, explore, and express themselves. A great nanny is patient, attentive, and reliable, while also making sure children feel heard, encouraged, and happy during the time they spend together.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Behavior Technician. I support children with autism by helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills through structured activities, patience, and positive reinforcement. This experience has helped me become very attentive, calm, and understanding of different learning styles and behaviors. I focus on creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, encouraged, and able to grow at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with kids is when you see something finally “click” for them. Whether it’s a new word, a skill they’ve been practicing, or just seeing their confidence grow, those moments are really special. I love being able to celebrate those little wins with them and seeing how proud they feel. It reminds me why I enjoy working with children so much, because every day you get to be part of their growth and happiness.
