My major was Child Development (several certs at the JC level and a Bachelors Degree). I put myself thru school as a preschool teacher, nanny & babysitter.
My philosophy is learning through experiencing the world around you. And I still always strive to learn everyday. Plus I still love the feeling of tactile play at the water table with toddlers.

I would call my discipline philosophy lenient, but firm. I expect children to learn how to clean up the messes we all make (toys, making bed, etc) and to enjoy their job learning & being children.

I work remotely in the evenings for a HIgh School
I love plants and pets and I carry dog treats in my purse. I am a nurturer and I have been vetted☀️

I also do organizing. I have revamped children’s rooms, basements, garages, pantries, linen cupboards, entryways, paperwork and any place where there is congestion. I enjoy the process. The amazing sense of satisfaction I get from the end result and the gratitude of the family I help are bonuses.

Looking at plants, bugs or just general surroundings together and listening to what they have to say, Toddler Commentary is hilarious

Going for walks to the park or play area, get some energy out

Infants scalp stroking and light limb rubbing to relax and stimulate neurons in their li’l developing minds 🧠

The most important part about being a nanny...

I treat them all like little adults

They have opinions

They have ideas

But I am the actual adult

My job is to keep them safe and to make it safe for them to explore their world

$28 is my less than 24 hr notice rate

Individual hourly rates are up for negotiation for regular dates

I am the experienced, back up sitter

I have also had many years of therapy and all kinds of healing, I don’t sweat the small stuff anymore = more patience to add to my hands on & clinical experience with children

I believe I have a Father who is always watching how I treat his children
