"Mercy cared for my son from the time he was just a few weeks old until he was about 8 or 9 years old. She is incredibly loving, dependable, and patient. Beyond providing excellent care, she fostered his learning and development through engaging educational activities. Her dedication and positive influence made a lasting impact on our family, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking exceptional childcare."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My childcare experience extends beyond traditional babysitting. I’ve led youth programs, supervised groups of children in school and community settings, facilitated educational workshops, coordinated enrichment activities, and supported children’s social and emotional development. As a mom myself, I also understand the importance of routines, patience, and communication. My professional background has taught me how to keep children engaged, solve problems calmly, and create environments where they feel both supported and excited to learn.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love finding activities that match each child’s personality and interests. Some of my favorites include reading together, arts and crafts, board games, building projects, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, dance parties, science experiments, and baking simple treats. I also enjoy helping with homework and turning everyday moments into learning opportunities. My goal is to keep children engaged with activities that encourage creativity, confidence, curiosity, and plenty of laughter instead of relying on screens whenever possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, being a nanny is about much more than supervision. It is about building trust. Parents are placing their most precious people in your care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I also believe strong communication with parents is essential, so families always know their child is receiving thoughtful, dependable, and attentive care.
It takes a village, and I understand that including me in yours is both a privilege and a responsibility. My goal is not only to care for your child, but to become a trusted part of the support system helping them learn, grow, and thrive.

My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my career in youth development, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all abilities, including those with autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities. Every child learns, communicates, and experiences the world differently, so I believe in meeting children where they are with patience, compassion, and respect. I work to create structured, supportive, and engaging environments where children feel safe, included, and empowered to succeed. I also value open communication with parents and caregivers to ensure I can provide care that aligns with each child’s individual needs, routines, and strengths.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories was turning an ordinary afternoon into a fashion show for two little sisters I was caring for. We invited their friends to join, picked out fun outfits, created a runway, played music, and even had each child show off their unique style. Watching their confidence grow as they cheered each other on was priceless. Moments like that remind me that children don’t need extravagant activities, they need someone willing to be present, imaginative, and excited to create memories with them. I love helping kids explore their creativity, build confidence, and simply enjoy being kids.
It is rewarding seeing a child finally master a homework assignment they were struggling with, hearing them proudly read a book on their own, or watching a shy child begin to come out of their shell. I love being someone who encourages children to believe in themselves while making everyday experiences fun, meaningful, and full of positive memories.
