In addition to over 8 years of professional nanny experience, I have an Associate’s Degree in Education, which gave me a strong foundation in child development and learning. I’m currently in nursing school and am a certified postpartum doula, so I bring both childcare and healthcare experience to the families I work with. As the oldest sister in my family, caring for children has always come naturally to me. I love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids can learn, play, and thrive. I’m CPR/First Aid certified and have excellent references from families I’ve worked with over the years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting kids out of the house! With my previous nanny families, we’d explore different neighborhoods, go to parks, libraries, children’s museums, music classes, Mommy & Me classes, story time, splash pads, the zoo, and fun local events. At home, I love arts and crafts, baking, reading, sensory activities, building forts, pretend play, and anything that keeps kids learning and having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is becoming a positive memory in a child’s life. Years from now, they may not remember every game we played or every outing we went on, but I hope they remember feeling safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to explore the world. Being part of those little moments and helping shape happy childhood memories is what makes this job so special to me.
