A little bit about me

I have 8 years of child care experience, working with children from 6 months to 13 years old. Coupled with my bachelor of science degree in psychology, I have taken a holistic approach to childcare incorporating my prior experience and education in developmental and cognitive psychology.

At my current position, I work with children from 6 months to 6 years of age. Using a Montessori approach, I assist and guide children towards achieving developmental milestones which are tailored to individuals and their age group. For example, working on proprioception, gross and fine motor skills, balance and core strength, and more.

I have worked at after-school programs and summer camps in which I gained experience in the classroom and outdoor settings. I also volunteered at a pediatric and adolescent urgent care allowing me to assess injuries and illness.
