A little bit about me

I am a 43 year old mom of three amazing, successful kids. I have been a stay at home mom for the better part of 21 years. I homeschooled my children as well as been a nanny for other children. I cleaned, managed my home. I shuttled my three extremely active athletic kids to all of their church and sports functions year round so my organizational skills and time management are excellent.
I am looking for a long term position to be able to grow with the child(ren) in my care in order to develop a positive relationship with both child(ren) and parents. I highly value the role and responsibility given to me by a family to care for their child(ren). I have always been passionate about raising and caring for children, not just my own. I have a positive and active out look on life with strong family values.
I have good references. I am a non smoker from a nonsmoking household. I have reliable transportation and an excellent driving record. No criminal record. I have pets. :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being active and outdoors with children. I love taking them for daily walks, going to parks, playing outside in sandboxes, on swings, throwing, shooting, kicking a ball around. I love sitting on the floor building blocks, racing cars, building lego’s, puzzles, board games, playing dolls, singing and dancing around and having a tea party. I love holding, cuddling, and reading too. Once I know what the interest of each child is I want to engage in those activities. I am not the biggest fan of electronics but I have been known to sit and watch a movie or pick up a controller and try. :)
