"Michelle nannied for our family (4yo boy and 8mo girl) for a short, but impactful 6 months. She's professional, caring, honest, and an excellent communicator. We always appreciated her proactiveness. Michelle found appropriate outings for the children such as library story time/music class. She suggested and prepared healthy foods/toys for our infant, while also respecting our wishes. Our older son's manners improved greatly thanks to her direction. Michelle frequently read books and engaged the children in non-screen time activities. The TV was never on when she watched the children. She also helped care for our dog.
Michelle's work ethic is exceptional. She established a routine for the children and household - no list or direction required! If there was extra time, she found other ways to contribute to upkeep of the household and help with occasional errands. She was truly a godsend during a chaotic transition phase from 1 to 2 kids."

"Michelle was a great fit for us. When our children were babies, Michelle was great about getting them on a schedule and establishing a routine. She engaged them in library story time, music class, the zoo and play dates with the “nanny group.” They would always be out doing something engaging and social. This past year, Michelle has picked up both of our daughters from two different schools every afternoon. In addition, Michelle has helped with other household chores such as laundry and dishes.
Some of the reasons why we chose and retained Michelle are:
She is experienced and extremely competent working with infants.
She created a great network among the other nannies so the children had a group of friends to do activities with.
She taught them good manners
She is very hands on and enjoyed doing “kid” stuff with the girls.
She was loving and caring with our dogs.
Michelle has been extremely dependable. She was consistently on time and never missed a day of work due to illness."

"Michelle worked for me from the time my first child was born through my second child entering kindergarten. Michelle is a child development professional that partners with the parent(s) to provide the best opportunities and development environment for your child(ren). She accomplishes this while being caring and fun with your child(ren). Michelle is very reliable. It is easy to work with Michelle. She collaborates with you to ensure there is consistency for the child(ren) with respect to their daily routine and behavioral expectations, which is so important for young child(ren) to feel secure and develop confidence. Michelle is also very observant, and willing to share those observations to support your child(ren)’s development. It truly is a pleasure for both parent(s) and child(ren) to work with Michelle. My now adult children recall their time with Michelle fondly. Having Michelle as our nanny was a a great experience for all."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began babysitting at 14, attended my first year of vocational childcare training in my senior year of high school, and worked in a daycare center while finishing my vocational training in early childhood care and education at Francis Tuttle. I was a camp counselor for school-aged girls at Steven's Ranch (Girl Scout Summer Residence Camp in Texas) in 1992 and provided care for young children in a church nursery during services from [phone number hidden] while employed as a full time weekday nanny.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading and library visits, parks, arts and crafts, cooking, zoos and farms, music and gym classes, indoor play places, children's music shows and other child-friendly entertainments are all on my roster. I am not a fan of screen time and prefer to use it very sparingly or not at all because I firmly believe children learn and grow best through experiencing and interacting with the world and not through watching it on a screen.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Working as part of a team with parents to raise well adjusted, compassionate, and successful human beings. Teamwork with the parents is vital to the wellbeing of young children to ensure their sense of security and enabling them to reach their full potential.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with food allergies and intolerances, congenital heart defects, and environmental allergies requiring me to administer allergy desensitizing injections over the course of my career.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am in contact with many of my previous families and I love seeing the wonderful people "my kids" have grown up to be. I experience great joy and satisfaction knowing that my time with them in their early lives helped shape the people they have become.
