A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Michelle Barash and recent BSN Nursing graduate from the University of Alabama

Growing up, I babysat for children of all ages that come from an array of backgrounds.

I have spent multiple summers lifeguarding at a beach club on Long Island where I learned the importance and benefits of being adaptable.

As an ocean lifeguard, I have efficiently dealt with life saving emergency situations. As a swim instructor, I have learned the importance of individualized learning and communication.

I worked as a Nurse Extern at a Trauma one hospital as well as a nurse intern in the ED. I have done nursing clinical in Long Term Acute Care, pediatrics, labor and delivery, ICU, etc. I understand the importance of attentiveness, empathy, and safety.

I hold certifications in Red Cross ACLS, CPR, AED, Water Safety Instructor, and Ocean Lifeguarding.
I am responsible, trustworthy, and reliable.
I am kind, patient, and empathetic.
I am a great critical thinker and problem solver
