Hello, I’m Miekiah Buster from Alexandria, VA, and a current 2nd year Biology major at Norfolk State University, and I have 4 years of experience as a babysitter and seasonal nanny. I am very passionate about taking care of children. As the oldest daughter, children come very naturally to me, and I hope to take a role in education later in life. I have a very warm and welcoming personality that I adapt to fit best with each child personally. I have nannied for a family with two toddlers, for up to 12 hours a day or more. This included getting them ready in the mornings, potty training, meal preparation, playtime, story time, nap routines, household chores, and additional tasks; these tasks I have also completed as a babysitter. My favorite nanny moment would certainly be when the two boys I was watching were playing around my feet as I did the dishes. I’ve watched them for basically their whole lives and to see them grow up has been an amazing experience! It was great to know they felt safe enough to play around me.
