More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered every Sunday for over 5 years as the children’s worship leader and as a worship leader for the youth and adults. I also served in the nursery day in and day out to make sure every child was taken care of! I have dedicated lots of time into pouring into these children and showing them the love of Jesus. We sing to worship songs, make funny dances, and learn the Bible in a creative versatile way! I have been a long term nanny for three beautiful families who have become like family to me and still have a relationship with. It’s very important to me to see each child as an individual—with their own feelings, needs, and rhythms
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I lead worship at my church for the children and young adults so I love to sing and teach kids cool bible stories and songs. I like to dance and draw/color as well! I also enjoy sports and outdoor activities. I am also studious, so I’d love to help in every area I can such as homework or projects!! I’m a creative at heart.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most important parts about being a nanny is making sure the children are in good hands. Always put their needs before yours and make sure you spend time with them. Watching a child is one thing but, being able to connect with them and love on them is most important!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was an evening I spent caring for three sweet sisters, all under the age of eight. After the usual bedtime routine; books, bedtime story, and tucking in—the two younger girls went to sleep right away but their older sister was having a harder time falling asleep. I could tell something was on her heart, so instead of pushing sleep, I gently invited her into the living room with me.
We sat together quietly, and I offered to pray with her. Her little eyes lit up, and we ended up talking, praying, and softly worshipping together. As we sang and shared that peaceful time, I could feel her spirit calm. Not long after, she told me she felt safe and ready to go to bed. I tucked her in again, and this time she fell asleep peacefully and happy. I always try to be present in those little moments that matter most, and to create a safe, nurturing space where every child feels seen, heard, and loved.

Hello! My name is Meredith. I'm a professional nanny with experience caring for children from infancy through early school age.
