The most important part about being a nanny...
On a particularly rainy day. I was babysitting two wonderful kids. They were bouncing off the walls and bored out of their minds. On a whim, I suggested we build an indoor fort. We spent the next hour dragging blankets, pillows, and chairs into the living room, creating this massive, cozy hideaway. We told stories, read books with flashlights, and just enjoyed the quiet, imaginative space together. It wasn't a grand, life-changing moment, but seeing their faces light up with simple joy, turning a boring day into an adventure, was really special.
