I taught at a school during the day, teaching children ages from infancy to 12 years. I taught them the English language, along with some basic science and math skills. I had also helped prepare the meals and feed the children. It was a great learning experience for me, I got to connect with many people, along with learning about a different culture and their practices!
During my senior year, I took a Nursing Assistant class at a nearby college. It was a 1 semester class, with a state skills and knowledge exam and clinicals at the end. Nursing has been one of my career interests, and with taking this course I learned so much more about the career field and what a typical work day would look like!
