To me, being a nanny isn't just about taking care of kids, but making a long-life connections with them. They're able to be themselves and have fun activities to do while the parents are out working hard or whatever it may be. Also, giving them someone to talk to and rely on is a really special thing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was taking care of the sweetest four year old, we went to the park in my neighborhood and he wanted to play basketball ( he was too small of course, but I hyped him up anyways) and he didn't make any score, but he looked so happy and as if he was having the time of his life. It was really special and when the parents came to pick him up, he began to cry because he didn't want to leave. I felt bad yet glad because I knew he had a fun day and maybe he won't remember that when he's older, but I definitely will.
