To be honest, I am willing to engage each and every child individually where they are at. Hoping that they would learn something new everyday. I do enjoy reading and singing and being silly. My hide and seek game is on point. I like to go for walks outside. Love to play with animals. And I'm willing and able to do whatever the child enjoys. Unless it's jogging I don't jog! LOL

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most significant observations about working with children is the incredible speed at which they grow and develop. Time seems to accelerate even more when you're witnessing their journey from infancy into young adulthood. It's truly astonishing how quickly a tiny infant becomes a 10-year-old, then a 15-year-old, a 20-year-old—or, in my personal experience, a 31-year-old!
This realization has deeply shaped my approach to childcare. My philosophy is to encourage parents, and to actively practice myself, the importance of slowing down and savoring every moment possible. It means taking the time to sing one more silly song, to rock them for an extra minute, or to pick them up when they reach out. These seemingly small moments are fleeting. Sooner than anyone is truly ready for, children won't ask for the songs, the rocking, or to be held. I believe in creating an environment where children feel fully seen, heard, and cherished, and treated like the individual human that they are.
