I have worked with Nexplore, which is a company that provides after school educational programs to school districts. For this job I am responsible for teaching an hour lesson at the end of each day to a group of six to twelve 1st through 5th graders. The contents of the lessons include math, reading, science, as well as extra curricular subjects like magic and drone building.
I was also a babysitter in my hometown from when I was a freshman in high school to when I graduated. I had four main families I was a babysitter for, all with kids aging 5 - 11. I would go to their houses and do activities with the kids as well as help with homework. Additionally, I was a nanny with the company Jovie. This company outsourced nannies to different families throughout Chicago, and I would work with a new family each day.
