More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered in the past with camps and field events for children. Also working with babies and toddlers in the Jewish culture, I have been apart of the mommy and me program, park events in cedarhurst, I use to be president of a youth group in the past where I help to motivate children and develop leadership qualities. I was also part of a charity group that helps with providing gifts, food, clothes, playing games, combing hair etc to an orphanage.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading stories and acting the roles. I enjoy building Legos, painting, coloring books ,playing with the dolls and house, paw patrol games, building blocks, counting number tables, playing with playdoh, alphabet games, playmats, tummy times etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is the smile I put on parents face, knowing that there children are being cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

I use to help my brother in law brother that has a special need. I helped with meal prep reading, listening to audios, making baths, games, community activities etc. I interact with children to have a better understanding. I do not stare to make them uncomfortable. I emphasize and practice patience with caring for a special need child. I communicate effectively with parents or guardians before offering help so that we can all understand and work together with providing the best care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have had so many great experiences I don't even know where to start! I can remember caring for the little girl you see on my profile photo. She just turned two and each time she was climbing the stairs she would say "Tara count" I would start with one, then she shouts out two, then I'm three and it goes aphaneticly until it reach ten and that moment she shouts, dance and laugh. Also I remember caring for a 3 month old baby boy. He would give me the cuties smiles and conversate with me. As I'm speaking he is responding with his little spitting lips. Was si cute.
