More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been an Infant Teacher and Lead Toddler Teacher for childcare network. I am working towards my RBT for ABA therapy for those with ASD(Autism Spectrum Disorder). I have also worked with adults that have Dementia/Alzheimer’s, while also taking on the role of a hospice caregiver when needed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy arts and crafts because it allows expression even when there is direction. I also enjoy sensory bins and playing new games that can be made by the little ones. I enjoy doing movement so dance parties are always great, along with learning new words with interactive books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I get to help and be apart of some pretty amazing milestones. I gain extended family, all while doing something that I adore and inspires me to step outside of my comfort zone at times.

My experience with special needs children...

Those of ASD( Autism Spectrum Disorder non verbal children included. I am used to diaper changes and teaching to potty train. As well as some aggression. I have also worked with children who have ADHD, seizures and more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Happens to be when my infants or my little friends feel safe and comfortable with me, that they follow me around like little duckings and imitate the things that I do or say. This shows me they are eager to learn and this can be make learning new things fun for both of us.
