I love planning fun activities that keep kids engaged and having a good time. Some favorites are arts & crafts, reading together, helping with homework (especially math and science!), S.T.E.M. projects, baking, and getting outside for park trips, nature walks, and creative games. I try keep things fun & active, mixed with educational without it feeling like school.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The children. They will always be the most important to me. These are the most crucial and confusing moments in their lives, so it's important that we spend all our time making sure we are showing and actively building a path for them. They are the future.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and developmental or speech delays (through both daycare work and personal caregiving.) I also support wheelchair-bound and non-verbal individuals.

All of my favorite moments happens when I'm caring for a child and spending time with them and I realize how happy and comfortable they are around me. It reminds me why this is a passion of mine.
