A little bit about me

Hello My name is Mykal ( pronounced Michael). I am a mother of 3 beautiful children and grandmother to 3 beautiful grandsons. I have worked with children of all ages, with and without special needs for over 20 years. I absolutely love being a mother, grandmother, and love children. At the age of 18 I had my own classroom at La Frontera child care center, from there my career of working with children planted the roots to my career of caregiving. I have supervised in groups homes with children from the ages of 3 to 17 years of age. Every single child I have had the opportunity to be graced to care for have not only taught me beautiful lessons of life, but aided me into striving to be the best mother raising my children and an even better grandmother with my energetic grandsons. I feel that children are more well rounded when we as caregivers are hand's on, create structure, however implement love, values, support, and kindness and individuality and every child.
