Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at KinderCare Learning Center for over 1 year. I started out as an assistant teacher and then was promoted to Lead Teacher after about five months of working there. I was able to gain the experience needed to handle the role of Lead Teacher.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities that I enjoy doing with children: Arts & Crafts, sensory play such as: playdough, kinetic sand, water beads. dance parties, scavenger hunts.

Outdoor activites: outdoor scavenger hunts, blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk art, playing sports.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is always putting the children first. Parents work so hard to make sure that their child is well taken care of. I want them to know that while their child is in my care they have nothing to worry about and their child will always be safe and well taken care of as if they were my own child.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was a teacher at KinderCare Learning center I had about 5-6 students that were diagnosed with autism. Children with special needs need a little bit more extra care and there is nothing wrong with that. They need someone that actually cares about them tending to their needs and assisting them with their communication skills as well as teaching them how to manage their emotions in a positive way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love every child that I've had the pleasure of working with every child is always so funny. I think my favorite moments are just seeing them grow and develop and know that I had a hand in their development.
